Hello, I am Sara Maasen. I am a mother of 2 with over 18 years of experience working with dogs and children. I bring patience, compassion and most importantly, fun when I work with children and dogs.
Last year (2025), a few dog training opportunities came my way through friends and I jumped right into helping them train their own puppies! This turned into a pretty fast growing dog training business. In that time I took a course specializing in child and canine safety with parent education with Family Paws. I learned a lot from that training and I am now using it to help other parents prepare their household for a life with children and dogs
As I continue to grow from my own interests, my friend planted a seed in my head that perfectly matches my passions…. My Youth Dog Training Program was created to give children the opportunity for hands-on dog training. I will be giving them the experience I grew up with that will roll over to applying their education to their own dog.
